There’s a child, somewhere in North Carolina, that might be down the street from you, who may go to bed hungry or even worse. They may be in an unhealthy environment which may include years of abuse or mistreatment.
If you’re tired of seeing stories of children being hurt or going without, then I ask you and the community to join our mission to help our future generation. It starts with us. Our future lies in the hands of the youth today.
Our overall goal is to ensure that all kids regardless of being disabled, living in low-income housing, or a foster child will have their fair shot of having good childhood moments.
Let’s do all we can to make North Carolina’s children smile. Whether it’s a new toothbrush, a bookbag, or perhaps a special gift for their birthday. We can make a difference. The ability to provide these children with a sliver of hope and sense of worth is our goal.
We all remember being a child, when the smallest gifts were priceless. This program strives to be able to offer that same feeling for kids who truly need it. We strive to provide the equivalent of waking up Christmas morning anxious for presents under a tree. Together, we can make this happen by supporting as many of North Carolina’s youth as we can.
Realistically, the adults we become have a lot to do with our childhood upbringing, the environments we grew up in, and fond times we hold dearest to our hearts. We are aware that we can’t change a kid’s entire childhood or where they live but we can make a difference by providing them with a future that they can feel a part of.
Every time we look at social media there’s a Go Fund Me link in support of neglect. This occurs when an unfortunate act happens. So why not unify and fight against child neglect/abuse NOW?
